Our story

Sidney H. DeWitt began his artistic journey in elementary school drawing pictures for his classmates. As he grew older, living and working in the bucolic New England landscape helped inspire both the soul and the skill of his future works. Wether it be logging in the woods with his family or riding motorcycles up and down the Kanc, the surrounding areas of Eaton and the Mt. Washington valley truly imbued a sense if spirit and light within him and his works.

I believe he used this same spirt and light and imbued them into his life’s works. In doing so, I believe that he put his heart and soul into every brushstroke of every painting he created. For me, growing up and watching him paint many of his works as a child, he created these beautiful pastoral visions of the valley....

It is my wish, that I am able to share these pastoral visions with everyone I meet and I hope they too can feel the warmth and love from both nature and family.
